Hill's Prescription Diet i/d Low Fat is a complete dietetic dry food for adult dogs, formulated for the reduction of intestinal absorptive disorders, compensation for maldigestion, and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. This specialist diet features a low fat content (8.2%) with highly digestible ingredients including broken rice, chicken and turkey meal, and maize gluten meal. The formula incorporates Hill's proprietary ActivBiome+ prebiotic blend (7.5%) — comprising dried beet pulp, flaxseed, ground pecan shell, dried citrus pulp, and dried cranberries — developed to support the gut microbiome and digestive health. Contains omega-3 fatty acids (0.5%) and includes ginger (1%) as a natural ingredient. Enriched with increased levels of electrolytes and high concentration of essential nutrients to support recovery.

Suitable For:

• Adult dogs with pancreatitis (acute and chronic)
• Dogs with hyperlipidaemia
• Dogs with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI)
• Dogs with protein-losing enteropathy (PLE) with lymphangiectasia
• Dogs with Cushing's syndrome
• Dogs with diabetes with hyperlipidaemia or pancreatitis

Not Suitable For:

• Puppies (growing dogs)
• Pregnant or nursing dogs
• Dogs requiring a standard-fat gastrointestinal diet (use Hill's i/d standard instead)

SERVING RECOMMENDATION
