Hill's Prescription Diet r/d Weight Loss with Chicken is a complete dietetic dry food formulated to support healthy weight loss in adult dogs. The formula features a high protein content (31.1%) to help maintain lean muscle mass during weight reduction, combined with a high crude fibre content (12.2%) from an optimal blend of soluble and insoluble fibres to help dogs feel full and satisfied between meals. With a controlled fat content of 10.4% and therapeutic levels of L-carnitine (317 mg/kg) to support fat metabolism, the diet is developed to support healthy weight loss in as little as 8 weeks. Made with chicken (12%) and turkey meal as primary protein sources, enriched with antioxidants including Vitamin E (550 mg/kg), Vitamin C (90 mg/kg), and beta-carotene (1.5 mg/kg) to support a healthy immune system. Intended for intermittent feeding only — not recommended for long-term use over 6 months.
