Description
Specialist dietetic wet dog food formulated for the reduction of urate and cystine stone formation in adult dogs, with controlled protein levels and urine alkalising properties.
Hill's Prescription Diet u/d Urinary Care Original is a complete dietetic wet food formulated to support urinary health in adult dogs prone to urate and cystine urolithiasis. The formula contains controlled levels of high quality, highly digestible protein with a low purine content, designed to reduce the building blocks of urate and cystine stones and decrease the risk of recurrence. With a protein content of 4.2% and fat content of 8.4%, this wet food features urine alkalising properties to help promote desirable urine pH levels. The formula is low in sodium and contains antioxidants including Vitamin E to support a healthy immune system. Each 370g can provides complete and balanced nutrition for maintenance of adult dogs.
INGREDIENTS
Composition: Derivatives of vegetable origin, eggs and egg derivatives, oils and fats, meat and animal derivatives, various sugars, cereals, minerals, seeds. Protein source: Dried eggs. Urine alkalising substances: Calcium carbonate (3.1g/kg), potassium citrate (2.3g/kg).
