Hill's Prescription Diet z/d is a complete dietetic feed for adult dogs, developed to support the nutritional management of food sensitivities and intolerances. The formula uses a single hydrolysed protein source — chicken liver hydrolysate (26%) — broken down into low molecular weight peptides to help minimise the risk of adverse food reactions, alongside maize starch as a selected carbohydrate source. Protein content is 17.6% with a fat content of 14.4%, plus essential fatty acids (4.2%) and high levels of vitamin E to help support a healthy skin barrier. The ActivBiome+ prebiotic fibre blend supports digestive health and gut microbiome balance, while the S+OXSHIELD formulation supports a urinary environment that reduces the risk of developing struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.

SERVING RECOMMENDATION

Note: Feed only this food exclusively. Recommended time of use: 3 to 8 weeks; if signs of intolerance disappear, this feed can be used initially up to one year. A veterinarian's opinion should be sought before use or before extending the period of use.
