Hill's Prescription Diet z/d Food Sensitivities Wet Cat Food is a complete dietetic canned feed for adult cats requiring nutritional support for ingredient and nutrient intolerances. This specialist diet features a single hydrolysed protein source (chicken liver hydrolysate) and a selected carbohydrate source (maize starch), designed to help reduce the signs associated with adverse food reactions including skin irritation, coat and ear conditions, and gastrointestinal upset. With a protein content of 9.2% and fat content of 5.3%, the formula provides balanced nutrition in a highly digestible wet format. The food includes ActivBiome+ ingredient technology, a blend of prebiotics developed to support gut microbiome health, digestive function, and overall well-being. The canned format provides a palatable texture that facilitates mixed feeding alongside the z/d dry formula. Each 156g can is equivalent to approximately 45g of z/d dry food.

SUITABILITY

Suitable For:

• Adult cats with adverse food reactions (AFR) requiring an elimination diet
• Adult cats with eosinophilic granuloma complex
• Adult cats with pruritic dermatitis linked to food sensitivities
• Adult cats with chronic enteropathy or exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI)

Not Suitable For:

• Growing kittens
• Pregnant or nursing cats (gestation/lactation)
• Cats with concurrent use of urinary acidifiers

SERVING RECOMMENDATION

Note: 1 x 156g can of z/d wet food is approximately equal to 45g of z/d dry food for mixed feeding calculations.

Frequency: Divide daily amount into 2 or more meals per day Transition: Introduce gradually over 7 days, mixing increasing amounts of new food with decreasing amounts of old food Water: Ensure fresh water is always available at all times Storage: Store unopened cans in a cool, dry place. Once opened, cover and refrigerate unused portion for up to 3 days. Serve at room temperature. Recommended time of use: 3 to 8 weeks; if signs of intolerance disappear, this feed can be used initially up to one year. A veterinarian's opinion should be sought before use or before extending the period of use.
