PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets EN Gastrointestinal is a complete dietetic dry food formulated for puppies and adult dogs to help manage intestinal disorders and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. The highly digestible formula contains low levels of fat (10.5%) with high levels of medium chain fatty acids (2.0%) from coconut oil (4%) for easy gut digestion and absorption. With a protein content of 24.0% from highly digestible ingredients including rice, pea protein and dried poultry protein, the diet is enriched with added prebiotics (chicory inulin) and increased levels of soluble fibre to improve microbial balance and promote good faecal quality. The formula provides complete and balanced nutrition for growth of puppies and maintenance of adult dogs, with a metabolisable energy content of 370 kcal/100g.

For dogs over 70kg: for each additional 5kg of body weight, feed an additional 35g of dry food.
Puppies: For puppies less than 3 months of age, divide the recommended daily amount into 3-4 meals, moistened. After 3 months of age, gradually reduce moistening. Puppies may require up to twice the amount of adult dogs — consult veterinarian for specific puppy feeding guidelines.
Mixed Feeding: When feeding dry and wet Canine EN together, for each addition of 200g wet food, reduce dry kibble by 60g.
Frequency: Divide daily amount into several small meals throughout the day to help optimise digestion and absorption Transition: Introduce gradually over a few days, with increasing amounts of new food and decreasing amounts of old food Water: Ensure fresh water is always available at all times Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Reseal after opening. Recommended time of use: initially up to 12 weeks; lifetime in the case of chronic pancreatic insufficiency. Consult veterinarian before extending period of use.
