Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets EN Gastrointestinal Small & Mini is formulated for the dietary management of puppies (over 1.5 months) and adult small breed dogs with gastrointestinal disorders including maldigestion, malabsorption, and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. The formula contains highly digestible ingredients marked with * for optimal nutrient absorption. It provides 26% protein from easily digestible sources and 11.4% fat. Medium-chain fatty acids (MCTs) at 2.3% from refined coconut oil provide readily available energy that doesn't require bile salts for digestion. Chicory inulin (0.55%) serves as a prebiotic to support beneficial gut bacteria. The small kibble size is designed specifically for small breed dogs' mouths.

Nutritional Additives (per kg): Vitamin A: 35,000 IU, Vitamin D3: 1,000 IU, Vitamin E: 560 IU, Vitamin C: 140 mg; Iron: 100 mg, Iodine: 1.6 mg, Copper: 11 mg, Manganese: 40 mg, Zinc: 100 mg, Selenium: 0.27 mg.

Suitable For:

Small and mini breed dogs (under 10kg) with gastrointestinal disorders

Dogs with intestinal absorptive disorders or maldigestion

Dogs with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI)

Puppies over 1.5 months with digestive issues

Not Suitable For:

Puppies under 1.5 months

Medium, large, or giant breed dogs

Dogs without veterinary supervision

SERVING RECOMMENDATION

Frequency: Divide daily amount into 3-4 small meals initially, reducing to 2 meals as condition improves

Transition: Introduce gradually as directed by veterinarian

Water: Ensure fresh water is always available
