Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets HA Hypoallergenic is a complete dietetic dry food for puppies from 4 months of age and adult dogs, formulated for the reduction of ingredient and nutrient intolerances with hydrolysed protein and selected carbohydrate sources. The formula contains a single hydrolysed soya protein with low molecular weight to help minimise allergic responses, combined with purified carbohydrate sources (corn starch) to reduce the antigenicity of the diet. Enriched with omega-3 fatty acids (0.5%) to support natural anti-inflammatory processes, plus medium chain fatty acids (1.3%) from coconut oil providing a lipid energy source that supports easier digestion and absorption. Enhanced levels of zinc, omega-6 fatty acids (2%), and vitamin A further support skin health and overall wellbeing.

SUITABILITY

Suitable For:

• Puppies from 4 months of age and adult dogs with adverse food reactions (food allergies and/or intolerances)
• Dogs requiring food elimination diet trials (feed exclusively for 8–10 weeks)
• Dogs with dermatological and/or gastrointestinal signs of food intolerance
• Dogs with compromised gastrointestinal function, including inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)

Not Suitable For:

• Puppies under 4 months of age
• Dogs requiring a fat-restricted diet (consult veterinarian for alternatives)

SERVING RECOMMENDATION

For dogs over 70 kg: for each additional 5 kg of body weight, feed an additional 35g.

Frequency: Divide daily amount into 2 meals Transition: For elimination diet trials, feed exclusively for 8–10 weeks without any other food or treats. No transition period is required when starting an elimination trial. If clinical signs resolve, this formula can be fed for life.
