PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Complete dietetic wet food for adult and senior cats formulated to support kidney function in advanced stages of chronic renal insufficiency (CRI). Contains restricted but high-quality proteins (7.2%) to minimise formation of toxic uraemic compounds while helping maintain adequate muscle mass. Features restricted phosphorus (0.11%) to help slow the progression of CRI and minimise the risk of secondary renal hyperparathyroidism. Enriched with increased levels of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA+DHA 0.14%) which may help reduce glomerular hypertension and inflammation. Added potassium (0.34%) helps reduce the risk of hypokalemia in CRI. Contains added B-complex vitamins to compensate for losses through polyuria. Highly digestible formula to support cats with compromised gastrointestinal function. Available in chicken flavour with a great taste to satisfy renal patients with reduced appetite. SUITABILITY

Suitable For:

• Cats with advanced stages (IRIS stages 3-4) of chronic renal insufficiency
• Cats with temporary renal insufficiency
• Cats requiring reduction of urate stone formation
• Cats requiring support of heart function in chronic cardiac insufficiency

Not Suitable For:

• Kittens (growth phase)
• Pregnant or nursing cats (gestation/lactation)
• Cats without veterinary diagnosis of renal insufficiency
• Healthy adult cats not requiring renal support

SERVING RECOMMENDATION

Mixed Feeding Note: 1 pouch = 25g of NF Renal Function dry food

IMPORTANT: This is a veterinary diet. Use only under veterinary recommendation.

Recommended Period of Use: Initially up to 6 months, although the product can be used long term.

Frequency: Divide daily amount into 2-3 meals Transition: Introduce gradually over 7-10 days. Gradual transition is especially important for cats with CRI. Warming to room temperature can enhance palatability. Water: Fresh water should be available at all times Storage: Store unopened pouches in a cool, dry place. Once opened, refrigerate and use within 48 hours.
