Specialist complete dietetic dry food formulated for the regulation of glucose supply in adult dogs with diabetes mellitus. Features a low glycaemic index formula with high protein and low starch.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Complete dietetic feed formulated for the regulation of glucose supply (diabetes mellitus) in adult dogs. Contains a high level of protein (37%) and a reduced level of starch (19.1%) with low total sugars (0.55%) to support post-prandial blood glucose management through glucomodulation. Features cereals with a low glycaemic index in conjunction with psyllium mucilage to help reduce postprandial hyperglycaemia. The high protein content supports the maintenance of muscle mass and a healthy body weight, while the moderate calorie content helps minimise insulin resistance associated with being overweight.
