PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Complete dietetic feed formulated for the dissolution of struvite stones and the reduction of struvite stone recurrence in adult cats. Features urine undersaturating and acidifying properties with very low magnesium (0.05%) to support urinary health. Contains L.I.P. wheat gluten protein selected for very high digestibility, with high protein content (34%) and moderate fat (11%) plus vegetable fibres (7% crude fibre) to help cats maintain an ideal weight. Developed with Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology to help lower the concentration of ions contributing to crystal formation. Supports urine dilution to make urine less liable to form struvite and calcium oxalate stones.

SUITABILITY

Suitable For:

• Adult cats with struvite uroliths (dissolution and management of recurrence)
• Adult cats with calcium oxalate uroliths (management of recurrence)
• Adult cats prone to weight gain requiring urinary support

Not Suitable For:

• Cats with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
• Cats with heart disease (when sodium restriction is sought)
• Cats receiving concurrent urine-acidifying medication
• Kittens (growth phase)
• Pregnant or nursing cats (gestation/lactation)

SERVING RECOMMENDATION

Frequency: Divide daily amount into 2 meals per day Transition: Introduce gradually over 7-10 days. Feed for 5 to 12 weeks for dissolution of struvite stones; initially up to 6 months for reduction of struvite stone recurrence. Veterinarian's advice should be sought before use and before extending period of use. In older cats, renal function should be checked before use.
