Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Cat Food in Gravy is a complete dietetic feed for adult cats, formulated to help reduce acute intestinal absorptive disorders and promote nutritional restoration and convalescence. This specialist wet food features highly digestible ingredients with 42.3% easily digestible protein sources and highly digestible fat sources (0.36%), designed to support maximum nutrient absorption while decreasing the intestinal workload. The formula includes an increased level of electrolytes and a high concentration of essential nutrients, with a high energy density to allow reduced meal volumes. Prebiotics are included to support the growth and balance of beneficial bacteria in the cat's digestive tract, contributing to a healthy digestive environment. Available in convenient 85g pouches with thin slices in a palatable gravy, this food is designed to maintain intake even in cats with a decreased appetite.

• Cats with acute hepatopathy/hepatic lipidosis without hepatic encephalopathy

Not Suitable For:

• Growing kittens (not formulated for growth)
• Pregnant or nursing cats (gestation/lactation)
• Cats with hyperlipidaemia
• Cats with lymphangiectasia or exudative enteropathy

SERVING RECOMMENDATION

Frequency: Divide daily amount into several small meals to optimise digestion Transition: Introduce gradually over 7-10 days, mixing increasing amounts of new food with decreasing amounts of old food Water: Ensure fresh water is always available at all times Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, refrigerate unused portion and use within 24-48 hours. Feed at room temperature. It is recommended that a veterinarian's opinion be sought before use. Feed for 1 to 2 weeks during periods of and recovery from acute diarrhoea until restoration is achieved. Lifetime feeding may be necessary in case of chronic disease.
