Royal Canin Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie Morsels in Gravy is a complete dietetic wet feed for adult cats, formulated for the dissolution of struvite stones and the reduction of struvite stone recurrence, with urine undersaturating or metastabilising properties for struvite and urine acidifying properties. The moderate calorie formula with 2.7% fat content supports cats that are overweight or prone to weight gain while managing urinary health. Developed using Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology, the tailored complex of nutrients helps lower the concentration of ions contributing to crystal formation. The high moisture content (81.5%) supports urine dilution, making urine less liable to form struvite and calcium oxalate stones. With a protein content of 9.5% and a reduced magnesium level (0.01%), this diet provides balanced nutrition in convenient 85g pouches with palatable morsels in gravy.

SUITABILITY

Suitable For:

• Overweight or weight-gain-prone adult cats with struvite uroliths (dissolution and management of recurrence)
• Overweight or weight-gain-prone adult cats with calcium oxalate uroliths (management of recurrence)
• Adult cats with Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC) — wet food recommended for recurrent idiopathic cystitis

Not Suitable For:

• Cats with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
• Cats with heart disease (when sodium restriction is sought)
• Cats with concurrent use of urine-acidifying medication
• Kittens (growth phase)
• Pregnant or nursing cats (gestation/lactation)

SERVING RECOMMENDATION

Frequency: Divide daily amount into several small meals throughout the day Transition: Introduce gradually over 7-10 days Water: Water should be available at all times — increased water intake supports urine dilution Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, refrigerate unused portion and use within 24-48 hours. Serve at room temperature. Feed for 5 to 12 weeks for the dissolution of struvite stones and initially up to 6 months for the reduction of struvite stone recurrence. A veterinarian's advice should be sought before use and before extending the period of use. In older cats, renal function should be checked before use.
