PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Early Renal is a complete dietetic feed for adult dogs formulated for the support of renal function in case of chronic renal insufficiency. This specialist diet features high quality proteins with a restricted level of phosphorus (0.5%) to help reduce kidney workload. The formula contains EPA and DHA (0.5%) long chain omega-3 fatty acids developed to support kidney function. Enriched with a synergistic blend of antioxidants including vitamin E to help neutralise free radicals. Contains L.I.P. proteins selected for very high digestibility to reduce metabolic waste.

Note: Veterinary recommendation required. Feed initially for up to 6 months.

Nutritional Additives (per kg): Vitamin A: 15500 IU, Vitamin D3: 1000 IU, Iron: 58 mg, Iodine: 4.8 mg, Copper: 12 mg, Manganese: 60 mg, Zinc: 136 mg, Selenium: 0.14 mg. Technological additives: Clinoptilolite of sedimentary origin: 5 g. Preservatives. Antioxidants.

SUITABILITY

Suitable For:

• Adult dogs with early Chronic Kidney Disease without proteinuria (IRIS stage 1)

• Dogs requiring moderate phosphorus restriction

• Dogs needing renal nutritional support in early stages

Not Suitable For:

• Puppies (growth phase)

• Pregnant or nursing dogs (gestation/lactation)

• Dogs with advanced kidney disease requiring lower phosphorus

SERVING RECOMMENDATION

Frequency: Divide daily amount into 2 meals

Transition: Introduce gradually over 7-10 days, mixing with previous food

Water: Ensure fresh water is always available

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Reseal after opening.
