PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Royal Canin Hypoallergenic is a complete dietetic feed for adult dogs, formulated for the reduction of ingredient and nutrient intolerances. The diet features hydrolysed soya protein isolate (17.6%) and hydrolysed poultry liver (5.0%) with low molecular weight peptides for very low allergenicity, alongside rice (48.1%) as a selected carbohydrate source. Protein content is 21% with a fat content of 19%, and the formula includes EPA/DHA (0.33%) and Omega-3 fatty acids (0.86%) to help support the skin's natural protective barrier. The diet also helps regulate intestinal transit and supports a balanced digestive flora with the inclusion of fructo-oligosaccharides. Veterinary supervision is recommended, with an initial feeding period of 3 to 8 weeks.

SUITABILITY

Suitable For:

• Adult dogs with adverse food reactions
• Dogs with dermatological and/or gastrointestinal signs of a food intolerance
• Food elimination trials
• Long-term management if signs of intolerance disappear (initially up to one year)

Not Suitable For:

• Puppies (growth phase — use Hypoallergenic Puppy for dogs from 6 months)
• Pregnant or nursing bitches (gestation/lactation)
• Dogs with pancreatitis (consider Hypoallergenic Moderate Calorie or Gastrointestinal Low Fat)
• Use without veterinary recommendation

SERVING RECOMMENDATION
