PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Royal Canin Satiety Weight Management is a complete dietetic feed for adult dogs, formulated for the reduction of excessive body weight with a low energy density profile. The high natural fibre content (17%) from vegetable fibres and psyllium helps support satiety between meals and helps limit begging behaviour. High protein content (30%) from L.I.P. proteins selected for very high digestibility supports the maintenance of healthy muscle mass during weight loss. The formula includes glucosamine from fermentation and hydrolysed cartilage (source of chondroitin) to support joint health, along with fish oil and soya oil for essential fatty acid provision. Fat content is restricted to 9.5% to support effective weight management. Veterinary supervision is recommended before use.

INGREDIENTS

Composition: Vegetable fibres, dehydrated poultry protein, wheat gluten*, manioc (tapioca), maize gluten, hydrolysed animal proteins, wheat, maize, animal fats, beet pulp, fish oil, minerals, psyllium husks and seeds, soya oil, fructo-oligosaccharides, glucosamine from fermentation, marigold meal, hydrolysed cartilage (source of chondroitin). *L.I.P.: protein selected for its very high digestibility.

SUITABILITY

Suitable For:

• Overweight or obese adult dogs
• Dogs with stabilised diabetes mellitus with overweight/obesity
• Dogs with hyperlipidaemia with overweight/obesity
• Long-term weight maintenance after target body weight is achieved

Not Suitable For:

• Puppies (growth phase)
• Pregnant or nursing bitches (gestation/lactation)
• Small breed dogs under 10kg (use Satiety Weight Management Small Dog)

SERVING RECOMMENDATION

Note: Weight shown in the table is the target body weight. Feed until target body weight is achieved and after if required to maintain target body weight. The recommended daily energy intake should not be exceeded for efficient weight loss or ideal weight maintenance. Maintenance rations after weight loss are calculated at approximately +10% of the weight loss ration. A veterinarian's opinion should be sought before use.
