Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary S/O Ageing 7+ Dry Dog Food – 3.5kg is a complete veterinary diet for senior dogs, specially formulated to help dissolve struvite stones and reduce the recurrence of urinary crystals, while supporting vitality, cognition and urinary tract health in dogs aged 7 years and over.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Specialist dietetic feed formulated for ageing dogs 7 years and over to support urinary health. Developed to dissolve struvite stones, with effectiveness for up to 80% of urinary stones. Contains an exclusive blend of nutrients and antioxidants to support cognition and vitality in ageing dogs. Features adapted mineral content and urine acidifying properties to help reduce calcium oxalate crystal formation. Highly palatable formula designed for ageing dogs that may have reduced appetite. Supports kidney health with controlled phosphorus levels.
INGREDIENTS
Composition: Rice, maize flour, dehydrated poultry proteins, animal fats, wheat flour, hydrolysed animal proteins, minerals, maize gluten, cellulose powder, wheat gluten (L.I.P. protein selected for very high digestibility), egg powder, fish oil, soya oil, dried tomato pulp (source of lycopene), fructo-oligosaccharides, glucosamine from fermentation, marigold meal, hydrolysed cartilage (source of chondroitin).
Nutritional Additives (per kg): Vitamin A 15,500 IU, Vitamin D3 1,000 IU, Vitamin E 350 IU, Iron 44-60mg, Iodine 4.4-5.3mg, Copper 13-14mg, Manganese 67mg, Zinc 145mg, Selenium 0.11mg, Lutein 5mg, Glucosamine 743mg, Chondroitin sulphate 8mg. Technological additives: Sodium bisulphate 5g, Calcium sulphate 1.4g (urine acidifying).
Analytical Constituents: Protein 18-20%, Fat 15-17%, Crude ash 6.4-7.1%, Crude fibres 2.2-2.4%, Calcium 0.5-0.7%, Phosphorus 0.5-0.6%, Sodium 0.4-1.1%, Chloride 1.5-2.14%, EPA/DHA 0.21-0.41%. Metabolisable energy: 3,738 kcal/kg.
SUITABILITY
Suitable For:
• Ageing dogs 7 years and over with struvite uroliths
• Dogs with calcium oxalate uroliths requiring dissolution support
• Dogs with recurrent bacterial cystitis
Not Suitable For:
• Dogs with hyperkalaemia
• Dogs receiving concurrent urine-acidifying medication
• Growing puppies
• Pregnant or lactating dogs
