Highly digestible dietetic dry dog food with moderate calorie content, formulated to support healthy digestion and help maintain ideal body weight in adult dogs with gastrointestinal sensitivities.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Royal Canin Veterinary Gastrointestinal Moderate Calorie is a complete dietetic dry food formulated for the reduction of acute intestinal absorptive disorders and as compensation for maldigestion in adult dogs, with a moderate calorie content to help limit weight gain. The formula features highly digestible protein (23%) from dehydrated poultry proteins and egg powder, with a moderate fat content of 11% to support dogs prone to weight gain. Enriched with a balance of soluble and insoluble fibres including psyllium husks and seeds, beet pulp, and fructo-oligosaccharides (0.5%) to support healthy digestion and intestinal transit. The increased electrolyte levels (sodium 0.50%, potassium 0.7%) help compensate for nutrient losses. Contains EPA/DHA (0.37%) from fish oil and algal oil (Schizochytrium sp.) for additional support, taurine (1.5 g/kg), and manno-oligosaccharides from yeast for microbiome support. Features L.I.P. proteins selected for very high digestibility.
