Royal Canin Satiety Weight Management Small Dog is a complete dietetic dry food for small breed adult dogs with an ideal weight below 10kg, formulated for the reduction of excessive body weight with low energy density (2,696 kcal/kg). This specialist diet features a high protein content (30%) with L.I.P. proteins selected for very high digestibility to support the maintenance of muscle mass during weight management. The formula contains high natural fibre (15.6%) from vegetable fibres, chicory pulp, and psyllium husks and seeds to help dogs feel satisfied between meals and limit begging behaviours. The kibble and formula are specially adapted to meet the specific digestive, dental and urinary sensitivities of small breed dogs. Includes glucosamine and chondroitin to support joint health.

SUITABILITY

Suitable For:

• Overweight or obese small breed adult dogs (ideal weight under 10kg)
• Small breed dogs with stabilised diabetes mellitus with overweight/obesity
• Small breed dogs with hyperlipidaemia with overweight/obesity

Not Suitable For:

• Dogs with a history of constipation in response to high fibre diets
• Puppies (growth phase)
• Pregnant or nursing dogs (gestation/lactation)
• Dogs over 10kg (use standard Satiety Weight Management instead)

SERVING RECOMMENDATION

Frequency: Divide daily amount into 2 meals. Use digital food scales for accurate measurement. Transition: Introduce gradually over 7–10 days. Feed until target body weight is achieved and after if required to maintain target body weight. For efficient weight loss, the recommended daily energy intake should not be exceeded.
