PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Royal Canin Veterinary Urinary S/O Ageing 7+ Loaf is a complete dietetic wet food formulated for the dissolution of struvite stones and the reduction of struvite stone recurrence in senior dogs aged 7 years and over. The formula features an exclusive complex of nutrients developed to help dissolve up to 80% of all struvite stones, with urine undersaturating and acidifying properties to create an environment unfavourable to crystal formation. With a protein content of 8.7% from very high quality pork and poultry by-products, and a fat content of 5.9%, the diet contains controlled mineral levels including low phosphorus (0.14%), low sodium (0.12%), and very low magnesium (0.02%) to support both urinary and kidney health. Enriched with an exclusive blend of antioxidants and nutrients including dried tomato pulp and marigold meal to support cognitive function and vitality in ageing dogs. Available in 85g pouches.

SUITABILITY
Suitable For:
Senior dogs aged 7 years and over with struvite uroliths (dissolution and management of recurrence)
Senior dogs with calcium oxalate uroliths (management of recurrence)
Ageing dogs requiring urinary support with additional kidney, cognitive, and vitality support
Not Suitable For:
Growing puppies
Pregnant or nursing dogs (gestation/lactation)
Dogs with hyperkalaemia
Dogs with concurrent use of urine-acidifying medication
Frequency: Divide daily amount into 2 or more meals per day Transition: Introduce gradually over 7-10 days, mixing increasing amounts of new food with decreasing amounts of old food Water: Ensure fresh water is always available at all times. Increased water intake is beneficial for urinary health. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, cover and refrigerate unused portion. Use within 24 hours of opening. Feed Urinary S/O Ageing 7+ for 5 to 12 weeks for the dissolution of struvite stones and initially up to 6 months for the reduction of struvite stone recurrence. The dog should be re-evaluated regularly by the veterinarian. It is recommended that advice from a veterinarian be sought before use and before extending the period of use.
