Complete dietetic feed for weight reduction and glucose regulation in overweight adult dogs. High protein (29.7%), low fat (6.1%), and high fibre formula.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Specific CRD-1 Weight Reduction is a complete dietetic pet food formulated for the reduction of excessive body weight in adult dogs. This specialist diet is low in calories and fat (6.1%) but high in fibre (13.2%) and protein (29.7%), allowing you to serve satisfying portions while still achieving weight loss. The high protein content means weight loss comes from fat rather than lean body mass, helping to preserve muscle mass. Contains added L-carnitine (30mg/100g), a nutrient that helps move fatty acids into cells to be burned for energy. High levels of omega-3 fish oils support healthy coat, skin and joints. Features cereals with low glycaemic index (whole wheat and oats) suitable for dogs with diabetes mellitus.
Note: Veterinary recommendation required. Use until target weight is reached. For diabetes mellitus, feed initially for up to 6 months.
