Description

A Prescription Only Medication (POM-V) used to treat congestive heart failure in dogs caused by valvular insufficiency (mitral and/or tricuspid valve regurgitation) or dilated cardiomyopathy.

Zelys Chewable Tablets are prescribed for the management of congestive heart failure in dogs, resulting from valvular insufficiency (mitral and/or tricuspid valve regurgitation) or dilated cardiomyopathy.

Each round tablet is beige to light brown in color and features a single score line, allowing it to be split into two equal halves for precise dosing.

Active Ingredient:
Pimobendan

Contraindications:

Do not use in cases of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy or any condition where improved cardiac output cannot be achieved due to structural or functional limitations (e.g. aortic stenosis).

Not suitable for dogs with severe liver dysfunction, as pimobendan is primarily metabolised in the liver.
